Studio in a School is a not-for-profit, visual arts-in-education organization that places professional artists in public schools.

Our resident artist, Cathy Ramey, collaborates with the classroom teachers to plan art lessons that integrate the student’s interests and academic curriculum.

Students express their ideas, build skills and engage in critical thinking as they experience drawing, painting, print making, collage and sculpture!!!

They share and discuss their work and the work of others.

Studio in a School implements an in depth curriculum called the Blueprint for the Arts.
