In K-101, we use the bead string everyday!
We count how many students are in school. We know that 5 red beads and 5 white beads makes 10. We also know that 10 and 10 makes 20.

In K-101 we also use ten frames to count. We know that when a ten frame is full, we have ten. We don't need to count! We are learning teen numbers by using the language of 10 and. We can show our learning by using a ten frame and writing an equation.
