Students have been studying the community and thinking about citizenship.

They learned that:

· People are citizens of a community, state, nation and the world.

· Citizens protect and respect their own communities.

· Responsible citizens respect others, behave honestly, help others, obey rules and laws, are informed and share resources.

The students viewed these videos to discuss the characteristics and actions of responsible citizens.

Then they painted scenes of responsible citizens in the community.
