At PS112, all students are given the tools to navigate social situations and persevere through challenges as part of our PBIS program. Starting in 3K, students are taught the ABCs of PS112 and learn the importance of being Accountable, Brave, Cooperative, Safe, and Respectful. Students are given the opportunity to earn Bee Bucks for representing the ABCs of PS112 and can use this currency at our unique Bee Bucks Bodega where they can purchase items of interest. Student not only receive positive reinforcement, but are also becoming financially literate as they practice earning, saving, and exchanging money.
