Special Education Services

At P.S. 112, we offer a comprehensive range of services to support students with disabilities and ensure that all learners have access to a high-quality, inclusive education. Classroom instruction is consistently differentiated and modified to meet the diverse needs of our students, allowing every child to learn and grow.

In addition to general education supports, we provide a variety of specialized settings and services, including Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classrooms and 12:1:1 special class program designed to offer more intensive, individualized instruction. Students also benefit from related services such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy (OT), and counseling services, all tailored to support their developmental, social-emotional, and academic growth.

To further support students with individualized needs, we offer Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) as well as targeted interventions for students who require additional academic assistance. In every classroom, daily Response to Intervention (RTI) practices are embedded to proactively identify and support students who may be at risk, ensuring early intervention and ongoing progress monitoring. Together, these services reflect our commitment to an inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to reach their full potential.
